Why did you cut your hair

when i cut it in early 2015 (from the hip-length it was) it was because i didn't like brushing it, it took so long to maintain, and i didn't like how my identity was tied to my hair. also it was really thick at the top and super thin at the bottom and had a bunch of split ends and it was something i'd wanted done for years. also i'd feel the edge of it brush against my wrist or something when i was sitting down, or see it on the pillow when i'm asleep, and get scared and jump bc i thought it was a spider. also one time some chick i didn't know came up to me and GRABBED ME BY THE HAIR (which i kept in a braid like 90% of the time so u couldn't tell i didn't brush it (i am very lazy)) and it was just **** weird and intrusive

when i cut it this christmas it was because i didn't like brushing it so i got it cut just at a length where it wouldn't get super tangly but is still "long" (for some reason the difference between "short" "medium" and "long" is, for most people/google, not that much of a difference). so now i can still get away with not brushing it as often as i should but it doesn't look like a huge mess. i used to have a blond streak in my hair after i dyed it in... late 2015? and there's just a tiny bit of that at the bottom of my hair still.

anyways it's more or less back to its natural color so das kool

yeah. it's a food i had a lot when i was a child and was at one point one of my favorites. it's pretty versatile. nowadays it hurts my stomach to eat.

What if you played saxophone and you lost your reed, would you rather whittle down a hunk of beef jerky to a reasonable facsimile or send a friend to purchase another one?  Keep in mind that an audience of 43 is waiting on your performance and you're on a very tight schedule.  You have seven minutes left and a five minute song (it's Glide by Stone Temple Pilots, a live arrangement they played recently with new singer Jeff Gutt) and the store trip can take one to three minutes, whereas the beef jerky solution is crude but only takes a matter of seconds.

this implies that i have beef jerky on hand, which i of course do. i naturally hide enough beef jerky in my "sneaky pocket" (a term coined by this twelve-year old kid i met once, referring to an inner pocket of a jacket) to last me three days just in case of emergency. i think i would take a quick snack break and whittle down the beef jerky for a reed, and also so i can have a tasty snack to chew on.

so yeah, the beef jerky.

at that point i think i'd run to the store and get some beef jerky that isn't as peppered, come back, and then wittle that as a reed

But if you're already making the store trip, why not get a real reed?  It's more reliable than a makeshift meat mass and then you get the jerky as a treat after you crush the concert
