Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

An open letter on reporting

Sometimes I notice these little profiles popping up in the latest user, such as https://forums.everybodyedits.com/profile.php?id=3686, and these are sort of weird. And I'd just like to suggest a report button on profiles, as this would be nice to rid of any alts (ironic, right?)
This could be a useless suggestion, as forum admins could notice the profiles, but I think it would be nifty.

-With regards, Ian

Apologies for responding fast, but think about what you just said...

Re: An open letter on reporting

The user has done nothing wrong and maybe it isn't even an alt. The forum staff can see if there are two accounts made on the same IP address, so if that's the case the user would have been banned. Imo we don't need a report user button. It's also not your job to ban suspicious users, but you're allowed to help the staff by flagging posts.

hence the point of reporting them, and being able to report someone who doesn't have posts

but yeah, in cases like these it really isn't useful at all because of the way new user approval is set up
