Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Make user group colors theme-dependant

With this change, we would no longer have to deal with similar role colors between themes, and unfair colors based off theme popularity, such as EE Administrators being magenta instead of golden, because of Coal whiners.

Re: Make user group colors theme-dependant

I picked the EE Helper color based off the Graphics Team color in the help page.

Re: Make user group colors theme-dependant

it would be somewhat confusing,  for example when a player with theme A shares a screenshot with players that use themes B and C and they all make CONFUSE because different COLORS

Re: Make user group colors theme-dependant

I doubt it'd be confusing. They should easily be able to know the role colors, group members, and identify the different themes based off the screenshots.

If they can't, then they can disable user colors.

PLUS, why would they focus on the role colors rather than the forum content?

Re: Make user group colors theme-dependant

make user group colors independent of the forum theme
do a vote for the forumers to pick green, orange or blue color for the default member user group
set all the other colors for user groups accordingly

EDIT: rewording this because HG has a tough time understanding my forum posts
right now the color of member usergroup is dependent on the forum theme, thus the said usergroup occupies N colors if there are N forum themes (this is a case for coal/radon/carbon at least, so at least 3 colors)
my suggestion: let the forumers vote for a color for the member usergroup (or just let diff pick the color), this color will not depend on the theme, all the other usergroup colors should be kept as is or changed accordingly to new member color

This should be applied for other themes too

This would probably be my solution. The way things are now, colors need shuffling around once to fit everything with no duplicate colors because member colors are theme dependent. Making everything theme dependent would just make that problem worse. Making absolutely everything theme independent would fix everything. Might have just 2 different sets of colors for light vs dark themes but that'd be all.
