Can anybody give me a reason why free edit worlds are a thing? I don't really get the point behind them. Players join, they build, they build on a world that they don't own and will probably have wasted there time.
Every time I join I don't really build, but find them rather boring. They get trolled anyways right? You are pretty much asking for trolls to join. Since you can't really tell if they're a troll or not, you shouldn't even bother.
I've trolled many times and got away with it, pretty easy to do so. Plus every time I get the same point across. "Free edit worlds are pointless, you're practically asking for trolls and you built for nothing." I get kicked cause they're salty and do not wanna hear what I have to say, the truth.

So does anybody know the incentive behind free edit worlds? Why do people bother with them.

Also, if you don't like free edit worlds, don't join them. Some people like to play police and kick trollers.

Free edit rooms are like an extra lobby for those of us who just like to hang out. You join, start a little conversation with the owner, look at some **** others are making, you compliment the cool stuff, join in on a conversation others are making, and repeat. It’s just relaxing, the stuff ppl make arent masterpieces, they often don’t deserve their own world and can be remade easily. It’s just relaxing to build a little thing, get others to help you, and see the result of the art and talk a little about it with other players. Doing this in your own world is borimg, as theres often less people, and if there are more people there’s a devide between editors and non-editors which is unpleasing.

If you don’t like it that’s ok, but please understand others do. Trolling and ruining the fun is just selfish. Just because you don’t understand the fun others are having doesn’t make it ok to ruin that fun.

The only fun is trolling the whole world. Then tell it was someone else because owners don't know how to inspect.
