You can either set the lasers on a timer which will come on and off automatically showing the darker laser when it is turning on or off.

Or you can attach them to a switch which turn the lasers on and off

To select which way the laser is going, you simply click on the side of the block where you want the laser coming off of

I suggest you making them raw – removing the black. "Colors > Color To Alpha" in case you use GIMP. But if you have been actiove on the last news lasers will be added by nvd next update (i guess)

I recommend you using Paint.net. It's easy to use and you can do almost everything with it.

They should be able to go through open doors/gates to make even more intersting mechanics
