Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Making map campaign without asking or telling the owner? Good job Megalamb

But failed to notify you that your level was added (Not cool)

Ahahahha aoi welcome back i gess
Maybe staff didn't ask because they thought Aoitenshi isn't active in game.

I don't think that's a valid excuse. Just because a player wasn't online at that exact time doesn't justify to steal their world and make it a campaign.
I just wanna ask something Aoitenshi. Did you receive a PM on the forums about your world becoming a campaign in the Advent Calendar?
Since I have a PM from Megalamb and he asked me if I give him permission to use ''Mediocrity Land'' in the Advent Calendar. I said no since Mediocrity Land was just that. Mediocre.
I thought he finally learned his lesson and started asking for permission but if he dun did it again and only contacted me so I wouldn't whine about it later, then wow.
How long will it take me to get banned again?
Place your bets right here.

Nope, I didn't get a PM.
But I think it's plenty fine considering this campaign isn't permanent, we'll get our worlds back. Plus its in their right anyway since they technically own our worlds.

Hi,
I would like to point out that Aoitenshi previously (like a year or two ago) gave me permission to use any of his levels for campaigns. We didn't tell him before we did it because we couldn't find him, but we did indeed already have permission to use it.
also I lowkey own the crew the level was made for so (???)

His name is still on it.
also I'm pretty sure this falls under this:

Since there seems to be some confusion being spread here: Just because something isn't illegal doesn't make it okay.
In this case, Aoi clearly gave permission so it's fine. However, I'm sure many people wouldn't like their worlds to be abducted without permission despite it legally being covered in the Terms of Service.

Everyone has to agree to those terms before being able to play the game.

whats so bad about your world being campaigned? almost every time youll be asked to have your world put in unless the team is short on time
and why complain about any of it having to do with the level itself? you make levels so people can play them, its visible on your profile, it's playable, it's completely fine for a campaign level
here, lets compare the ups and downs of getting campaigned
UPS:
you get a lot of attention
your world gets a lot of attention
your world is forever immortalized in everybody edits history
you get a compensation world
you get your world back for seasonal campaigns
you get likes, faves, and crew subscribers
your level was good enough to become a campaign
you get full credit for your level
DOWNS:
you cant edit your level anymore - if its finished you shouldnt need to edit unless absolutely necessary
...
that's literally the only down
Everyone has to agree to those terms before being able to play the game.
Exactly, so it isn't illegal for them to use the level in a campaign. Just like it isn't illegal for Facebook to lock down your profile and showcase it in "Worst Profiles of the Year." Again, there's a distinction between illegal and wrong.

You seem to be intentionally feigning ignorance to the difference between "illegal" and "wrong."
Facebook has "your permission" to use your content as their own by accepting their TOS just as EE has "your permission" to use your content as their own by accepting their TOS. I fail to see the difference.

Insert quote
I think you are downplaying the situation quite a bit here. You would be correct if the only reason people make worlds is for attention, but I think we both know that can't be true.
There are many other reasons to build a world, like artistical expression, personal amusement, to do something with friends, whatever the reason might be.
And while yes in most situations you would want your world to be a campaign, there are still exceptions. Sometimes you just don't want to have a world campaigned. You can't just use something someone said a year ago and say those words are still valid today.
That's exactly what happened to me, and considering the staff still haven't learned, will likely happen again for someone else.
Terms and Conditions
Yikes jawapa are you actually pulling out what the staff have said a long time ago?
Do you know what they ALSO said a long time ago? ''We will ask you for permission directly before making a world a campaign''. Sure they can take your world and do whatever they please, but that doesn't mean they should. They can delete every single world you have ever built, and according to your logic it's fine since by law they are allowed to do that.
"steal"
His name is still on it.
not even remotely the same thing
The scenario you gave is retarded.
Staff isn't claiming it as their own.
Pretty much everything you have said so far can be summed up is ''Haha youre wrong and youre dumb.'' while ignoring the main points someone was making.
Yes it essentially is stealing. It doesn't matter if you take the credit for it if you never want to show it, it was taken without your permission.
Yes it is essentially the same thing. It's an example of someone taking what's yours and doing whatever they please.
''retarded'' nice argument.
Yet again, you just used bad wording as an argument to why someone is wrong while ignoring their main point. ''Staff isn't claiming it as their own'' So what? His point was that there is a difference between illegal and wrong but you seem to have just carefully dodged that part.
How long will it take me to get banned again?
Place your bets right here.

"Surprise! Happy new year!"
They can delete every single world you have ever built,
again, not the same thing. not even close.
it was taken without your permission.
but he gave permission
It's not like they're taking away peoples' unfinished boss to code worlds, and saying "haha **** you, this is mine now"

Good job Jawapa you dodged my main points and out of dozens of sentences you picked out two that I already answered in my post above. 10/10
again, not the same thing. not even close.
Sure the words are slightly different but what I said was that Staff can take your worlds without your permission and do whatever they desire.
But yeah you said campaigns and I said delete, but that's not the issue. The issue is that your logic is garbage. Just because the staff can doesn't mean they should.
but he gave permission
Again, he gave permission one year ago. You can't take someone's words from one year ago and be certain that they still apply today.
Ever heard of changing your mind? That happens.
It's not like they're taking away peoples' unfinished boss to code worlds, and saying "haha **** you, this is mine now"
And you said other people's examples had nothing to do with anything? Yeesh.
How long will it take me to get banned again?

I mean I did, so yeah it's possible
Ever heard of changing your mind? That happens.
Had he changed his mind he would have told me like any normal person
clearly he's not upset so he obviously kept true to his word

If you sign a contract for something, you can't just say that the contract is invalid a year later simply because it's possible that you might regret it. If you change your mind, you can come to us. It nonsensical for us to repeatedly ask people whether they changed their mind.
