[suggestion] pressing the number links to post
In the upper left part of this post, it'll say the time when the post was created. On the right side, it'll have the number of the post. If you click the time, it'll give a direct link to the post - can we have the same thing for when you click the number?

that's fair but given the relationship, topicID would be useless. If your idea involves removing postID to just get the topic (which I've wanted to do before), you may as well just add a parameter like &topicFront=1 or something.
