Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

History is okay but the constant analysis gets a bit annoying after a while.

A fact which I don't like about history is that it's not always true, it depends on a large amount on the common / teachers beliefs about it. Parts of history are truly falsified. Don't assume a World Wide conspiracy(perhaps that's also valid) but people simply out of patriotism exaggerate things, destroy / or not even conceive shameful moments, or don't admit things out of political strategies. For example: the amounts of a country reporting about loosing a very old war are quite rare, in that case we have to take as true a winning report of another country. It's all about conclusions and how many evidences you have to sustain them. But truth is not really singular, its complex and full of deep roots.

Another example closer to our times:
It is been said by Americans that USA weren't prepared for the WW2. However statistics show that before if started, they've already had a top ranking military power, and unmatched in quality to what other country had. So how exactly weren't they prepared? USA might not be as peaceful as they try to appear.
The British also let hundreds of their own people die. They we're able to intercept german messages but they preferred to not interfere until they've considered "it was the right moment".

The USA has never been peaceful tf you on about? They literally get involved with or fund every war they can. They try to impose their beliefs on literally everywhere that majorly disagrees with them. And Britain is basically America's lap dog. And if you think Britain is supposed to be moral then you clearly don't know that our entire wealth and status in this world was created through slavery. Each country views themselves as the best and doesn't truly care about one another; that's why I hate patriotism. All countries are corrupt and the history we see is what are countries want us to see. So basically history is just propaganda in support of our own country.
