Responding to this since I kind of ignored it.

It was near the end of the day and I spent nearly two hours analyzing the topic to make a great comeback from the Great Abyss of Lurking. I didn't have anybody in my mind as scum until near the end of the post. With all the reads I had done, I felt the desire to vote for somebody and you happened to be the one. I'm pretty sure two hours of reading and thinking is a lot more time I spent on voting than some other users.

All these scumreads are nice and all, but we have to consider lynching those that don't vote, since if town is left with non-voters it's an easy win for mafia. For this reason, and since Slabdrill seems to have returned, my top lynch candidate today would have to be Anatoly.

Yeah, you're right. But when somebody's so bombastic and attention-grabbing I can't help but want to see what they do. If he's scum, there's a lot of possible info to get out of him since he's playing kind of noobishly. Meanwhile, MartenM has been as vocal as a bucket of rocks so far.

It's hard to tell if a Devlin/HeyNK or a Devlin/Onjit werewolf teamup would be more likely. Either way I'm going to keep a closer watch on Onjit for now. HeyNK/Zumza is possible but I doubt it. Devlin/HeyNK/Zumza is possible if Devlin and Zumza bussed each other.

Personally, I think that if Anatoly is town, he's the least helpful. While d1 NoLynch is debatable, d2 NoLynch is pretty antitown imo. He doesn't really seem like he'll be contributing his vote in a useful manner at all. He doesn't seem to be scumreading, his votes are useless, he wasn't posting much (can't post now), and if he didn't lie then all we lose is a vanilla townie. Sounds like a good lynch to me

You know no one actually believed HeyNK is scum? No one every strongly believes the person we are trying to lynch day 1 is scum. We were trying to lynch HeyNK because there was no one else and he was the one displaying the most undesirable traits. These being he was being cocky and crazy. I made multiple points Day 1 that haven't been refuted yet. I feel it's a bit more substantial than "Slabdrill's being inactive" or "HeyNK's being crazy"

Yes. This would be appreciated. I'd like to say though that commenting isn't always about what you want to add but rather what you also want to persue, like right now we are persuing your opinion. If you genuinly have nothing to say then I'd recommend posting your scum reads each day as a bottom line of contribution.

I have to agree with the whole lynching people who don't vote thing here. If the people who are left alive arn't voting, then each day will result in a mislynch.

well I thought it interesting he started out saying I was kinda doing my usual thing which seems a pretty good way to not ruffle feathers. (maybe I'm just in shock from heynk lashing out :'( ) I am otherwise pretty unconcerned with his accusation as he didn't give it much weight I guess.

I could go for your lynch because I see the classic 1v1 setup. Two folks are getting pretty heated so you'd think (hope!) one of them is right. I should clarify then that I could go for either of your lynches. If our first choice came up wrong we'd do the other guy. Plus, if we're right on the first try, the other guy looks a little better. I feel this is more productive than going after a random quiet person.

That's pretty much WIFOM in a nutshell. I'm not a big fan of playing mental gymnastics to figure out scum so I tend to take common scum signs as they are. By itself, it's a rather small sign, but when combined with more it can become stronger evidence.

I was comparing the Devlin lynch to the other possible lynches I had in mind; I wasn't referring to your arguments. I just didn't feel like Slabdrill and HeyNK were as good lynches as you are.

If you check all my posts, I think you'd find that fewer than half of them mention you. You're exaggerating. I'm also trying to get things somewhere, which is why I've called out the lurkers multiple times.

Never. I looked at the evidence, and over my two-hour Day 1 analysis, I just gradually got more and more suspicious of you. I'm not being as aggressive as you think I am.

My Scale-o'-Scumminess is mostly based off my somewhat arbitrary intuition. Zumza, jkdrip, etc. just so happened to give me more "innocent townsfolk" vibes than hummerz did. At some point in Mafia games you just have to go off your instincts.

I decided Marten was taking too long to post. Then people gave good explanations as to how Anatoly wasn't helping the town, so I thought that I may as well vote for him instead.

Whether or not I'm innocent, my role and interactions alone would probably be strong evidence towards the identity of the werewolves since I've meaningfully interacted with nearly every player. I'm not against the idea.
