Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

For those of you still here, thank you.

Isn't that also technically telling him to go die?

Basic level design in games
Friends
A love for sandbox games (EE actually got me into and out of Minecraft)
A sense of community
Procrastination
The art of trolling
Got me into learning coding (though I don't do much of it right now I will later)
Wanting to learn another language (All language barriers make me want to learn new languages but EE was one of the first I experienced)

It was an excellent time waster. For nearly two years I wasn't engaged with the community/forums (2010-2012) so I felt lonely. In spite of that, my loneliness let me focus more on levels, and even though I didn't have chat, I felt connected by simply playing with other players.
Playing levels was absolutely fun and had a sense of exploration to them. They felt like actual 'games', not just some levels. People clearly poured everything into their levels, something I was really happy to see. For four years (2010-2014) I played EE intermittedly and enjoyed it a lot. Though I'll have to say 2010 and 2012 were by far my favorite years.
EE helped me, in this way, to get through the hell that was middle school.
EE introduced me to coding, which made me more tech-savvy and probably helped make Computing my favourite subject in school, which in turn probably led to my choosing engineering at university.
Funny how small events can snowball like that. If EE never had bots I could well have gone into languages or art; now I'm stuck with getting a high-paying job in an awesome and dynamic field.
Funny that.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

post BBCode tag?
Done, thank you for the suggestion. I had no idea there was a post bbcode, I thought there was only topic.
I'll update this after today's classes.

whoa what
[post]
exists
That's what happens when people decide to use the moderators' crappy ways to format, instead of learning the proper BBCode, which has always been available below your text editor. Link.

yes bbcodes exist that aren't on the toolbar now that everyone is suitably amazed let's get back on topic

I don't want to be as dramatic as NorwegianBoy, but I'd be lying if I said EE wasn't a big part of my life.
I have a lot of memories, good and bad. I remember the first two friends I had on EE were ThreeWheelDrive and OrcWizard. And I made a crew us three called "BS Crew". The logo was something like this. It made absolutely no sense, but it looked cool at the time. I made one of those worlds with all the crew member's names listed, those were pretty common back then. Thinking back on some of these things makes me smile.
Over the six years of playing I've met a lot of people. Quite a few I've become good friends with, and some I've got to know very well. Unfortunately, I don't talk to many of them anymore.
During my time as a moderator, I learned a lot. All the criticism, and constantly being under scrutiny, helped me better myself and grow as a person. Looking back at some of things I've done, even a few months ago, it makes me go, "wow, I really did that?"
Like most people, I was introduced to programming through EE. The first thing I learned was some very basic HTML from ThreeWheelDrive. At the time, I thought it was the coolest thing to stylize some text with CSS and show my mom. She wasn't very impressed, but it eventually led to me learning different programming languages, and later applying to college for computer science.
I doubt EE has made my life turn out much different than it would have otherwise, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wanna say something inspirational, but tbh the only impact I can think of is that I met some people who introduced me to Minecraft and then Minecraft impacted my life by making me realize how creative I actually am...

twas november 2013 and i was hella into flash games at the time, and i found EE.
i joined up, and i started playing. was fun as hell, met a bunch of people, and in 2014 i was in a group of friends who all met on ee and tinychat, and we just had some fun. i also had a large interest in RPGs on EE at this time (and i still do)
it was great, up until december 2014 (i think). at this point for a couple of reasons i decided to quit ee, and i didn't come back until march 2015, when this group of friends was pretty much entirely disbanded, everyone just stopped talking to eachother and stopped playing. i remember i had like one last meeting with one of these friends, and then we NEVER saw eachother again (i have not seen them at all since then)
i kept playing EE for a bit, enjoying my time again, making some new friends along the way (honourable mention: threewheeldrive) i quit EE again at some point, and came back again, and my life changed entirely thanks to this game. i was joining around some RPGs and i saw this guy was giving some criticism to someone who was not taking it at all, the guy got kicked by the owner, i defended him, i was kicked as well. i kinda just shrugged it off, but then later, both of us were in the same RPG world, and the owner was being dumb with this same guy (we did not recognise eachother), and i defended him again
the guy then sent me a friend request after that, i accepted, and i joined a whole new group of friends. we made and played RPGs and crap together, and it was loads of fun. this group of friends made me a lot happier and changed my life greatly
sadly i'm not in that group of friends anymore either, and i've moved on. i pretty much stopped playing EE for the most part, however i have been dabbling a bit more lately. i hold the opinion that EE is dead and i doubt i'll ever get back fully into this game. i still have a few friends who i talk to from time to time.
in conclusion: i joined EE for friends, fun, and eventually RPGs/roleplaying
back on the forums after over a year. deleted all of my old cringy posts that i could...
