Contest win smiley secret

I have just noticed if you look at the loadscreen carefully, you can see part of the design contest hidden smiley! This is it zoomed in: It is the same shape as the outline on the post for the contest. Please comment on what you think it might be.

Artist 2 smiley? It looks kind of like it has glasses which would make it different enough to become its own smiley.

Yes it's indeed a artist smiley, maybe version 2. Yes, he has glasses so Devlin is wrong. He has a blue hat.
Maxi123 is wrong. Why would there be already someone near the artist smiley? And if it was there, how did it get there?

So EE is finally trying to bring this series back to the old times. Old times where we had 2000 players online.
