Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

The point of the game is to eliminate threats to the town. We can't do that without lynching. Honestly it's not like we're going to know anything tomorrow either so do you think we shouldn't lynch tomorrow too?

What makes everyone think nothing will happen? At the very LEAST the investigative roles will have some leads. Roleblockers can look to see if there was a kill after they RB'd as well, meaning their target was likely town if all parties killed, or scum if a party didn't kill.

but then we would have people role claiming on the second day, which is not usually good. Most roles will wait longer than that to claim so we probably won't have any info tomorrow.

So keep it to yourself until it's useful/relevant

I disagree, it's better to lynch a mafia than a townie, as well as find any suspicious people defending the maf

Nah anyone that's voted to endgame is joking
I'm still kinda new to this but from what I gather d1 is 80% jokes 20% random finger-pointing

Maf wants somebody lynched
Every day without a lynch is another free for all for the maf. Lynching non-randomly makes it easy for maf to manipulate the town into lynching one of their own. Safest option for a D1 lynch is randomly unless somebody outs themselves while arguing the Objective Truth that D1 random lynch is best lynch.

Not enough evidence.
as for a new player, that's a rather confident push for letting a day to go to waste
we will not have much more evidence on day 2, other than one (maybe more?) role flips from night deaths, and mafia goes for strong town anyways when deciding on the night kills
as for evidence from investigative roles, i highly doubt that anybody is going to claim on D2

I'm not content with this answer. No lynch is not a free kill for maf. Power roles will confirm people as town or suspicious. That combined with the dead players the next day greatly narrows down the possibilities.
