Have you ever had a moment where after you make a topic on a forum you wait a while and maybe go to bed... Then the next day you realize what you wrote was kind of stupid, so when you see your topic has replies you are too embarrassed to even look a them.

Ehh kinda. I sometimes write well developed lengthy posts and just think half way through "you know what? I doubt anyone cares" and delete my last half an hour of typing.

Sometimes I will tick away for minutes at a post, putting every ounce of detail and emotion into it that I can manage to find, and then I'll post it and realize it's only a paragraph long.

Sometimes I forget to proofread my post five times and have to go back to make sure it's grammatically, lexically, logically and punctuationally sound.

Everytime I get a notification on Reddit - no matter how tame my posts have been - I always half expect a response starting with "..who the hell do you think you are?"

but honestly 75% of my post history is mildly cringe. this will be too, in some vague way.

reminds me of several angry replies I've written in the past where I work on it for 10 minutes then realize.. why am I even doing this?
