Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Atilla, even though its quite different from the other auras that would have been a cool impressive animated aura. Something unique you would get for achieving a badge.

although they do look similar to cubits (which i noticed later), it was inspired by pictures of bismuth crystals.

This video should help you out... and he only uses 400k tris so might be more possible... I probably went overkill though |:

The most that I tried modelling with was 32mil of triangles (but it was just a 2mil model copy pasted over and over) and I couldn't even start up the render, not even after reducing the triangles count to 8mil
Is sculpting harder to learn actually?

Is sculpting harder to learn actually?
Ehh I found it ehh kinda easy to learn, but I had experience in drawing animals (mostly dragons) before which helped in learning it. Sculpting feels more of a creative way to create 3D things compared to modeling. But if you're gon' sculpt things and want it to be as easy to use as a lower poly model then you're gon' to need to learn how to do retopology...
