Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Would anyone be interested in an EE music-making guide?

Title. It'd be the style I'm most familiar with, that you see in most of my worlds. I'll take a woot as a yes.

Currently playing through: Mega Man 1-6

Listen to my in-game music! (it's pretty much all I'm good at)

hey so semantically speaking Q&A is for idk like game Q&A if that makes sense. GD would've worked, imo, though the label for Level Creation does include "EE tutorials" so I guess I can move it here. though it's technically not a tutorial

if you'd rather G&D for asking this question I'm down with that

tl;dr: moved

Acoustic pianos can't be converted to used as a direct input for MIDI. However, if you have an electric keyboard, you can probably connect it to your computer and make MIDI music that way.

This would be super helpful. Up until yesterday I was always wondering how many blocks of travel is one second until I realised most musicians in EE make their music in beats not seconds :/ Like honestly I want to properly understand how to make music in EE because there have been countless times 3 when I have wanted to include music in my level but because I am crap I can't. So yes definitely make this guide.

I just experiment until I get the tempo I want. I guess you could also work out a smiley's speed in blocks per second and then use that to convert your desired bpm to blocks per beat.
