Yes, the world would be a far more optimal place if there was just no countries.

All countries are is lines on a map that were defined by conquest and empire which involved the death and exploitation of billions of people. These lines continue to be defined but that exploitation but reinforced by racism and nationalism.

Of course, this would only work if the leader or government were not corrupt and had the best interests of the people at heart. Sadly, with the way our world currently works, that just isn't possible.

A Council Membership could be added, and they are like demokracy between presidents, and chosen by everyone, so 40 presidents, chosen by everyone, ruling togethr the world: Like if 20 presidents denie something and 30 agree, then they win...

A worldwide country without war wouldn't work. We can already see many countries in the world that are locked in civil war and people will always manage to create groups that dehumanize each other no matter which flag the nation is under.

It's politic. You can be only friends if you have the same enemy. Soviet Union failed with America, after Hitler's death. They just became enemies..

It's a benefit that countries are separate, it allows for economic competition since each government has their own legislation and regulations.
I do agree with the tenets of social globalism, the promotion of secularism and the freedom to travel internationally without the burden of visas would be nice, similar to how it is in Europe.

It is potentially the case that at some point in the future a unified world government would work. However, at the very least all of the following would probably need to be the case for it to be a good system:
1. Strong preexisting inclusive democratic and economic institutions in all countries prior to establishment of the unified government
2. The unified government to be federalized in a way that ensures the continuation of these institutions at every level and delegates various issues to the appropriate level
3. General convergence of the long run economic positions of all areas of the world (not complete, but to a level that huge disparities do not exist, and other disparities may be self-correcting; this would likely largely follow from 1)
4. The assurance of self-determination to a level that, although they should never be made to want to, if a large enough portion of the people in a particular area desire to exit the unified government, they will be allowed to without hostile action

Essentially it would have to be something like an idealized cross between the US, EU, and UN, existing in a world where longstanding institutions and economic situations allow it to work. This is not at all the world that exists today, but maybe at some point in the far future it will.
