Sweet idea. Doesn't seem difficult to create either, like same coding as other block tabs.

This became less useful because we have searchbar now

But how many people really would memorize all block packs and search them to use them. It's more useful to first place all the blocks i will use and the common ones i use on a separate tab and save it for next time, rather than searching everything. The Custom Tab is much more useful than the search bar, searching is only good for finding the blocks. It did not affect how useful the Custom Tab can be. How?

naw search makes things way easier because blocks have a bunch of tags and you don't need to memorize not a single pack.

examples:

factory pack? just search crate or something relevant to "factory"

christmas pack(s)? search present lol.

etc.

I see, but still, its only used for finding blocks and not capable of what the Custom Tab does, having everything you need to use laid out on one tab and even capable of saving it! That's a dream for a ee artist. They both are useful, but i find the Custom Tab to be more useful than the search bar. Having both the Search bar and Custom tab would be legit.

Bro, that be too small. Think of this as an expansion pack with a saving feature. This would allow more ease in creating levels and art. There shouldn't be any negative effect to having a custom tab, or is there? It will provide positive benefits, especially for people working on massive or huge worlds. I think it will make people want to create worlds more having a menu to save your personal favorite combination of blocks.

I still exist, I just forgot about EE... sorry, lol. I got married and my life is good without it. Accidentally typed "ee" into the URL bar yesterday (looking for ebay) and the old "eeforums" popped up and I was like "ohey let's see how they are"

I noticed this feature still doesn't exist. :sadface:

As for how the searchbar replaces the need for this, I disagree. As an artist, it is important to keep colors in a specific order to help remember gradient. With the searchbar gradient is not labeled and tehre are far too many blocks for me to remember the gradient over time.

The main reason I want the custom tab is so I can put specific blocks in a specific order. It looks like your blocks are auto-ordered, yes?
