I like reading but I don't read books. It's just not something I go out of my way to do. But if it is ever forced upon me (eg when I used to have library sessions during English lessons in school) I don't really complain about it as it is enjoyable.

I mostly read non-fiction about things I'm interested in: Music, art, philosophy and psychology. I sometimes read poems too, just for fun.

The only novels I've ever read were for school. (Except for around the world in 80 days, which I actually liked a lot). I just don't enjoy reading very much...
I can manage with short poems, and non-fiction is ok because I'm actually learning something. Reading for my own enjoyment is something I just find very difficult.

I don't because it's boring. My dad loved reading books when he was young and he forced me to read books lots of times when I was at primary school.

It's also very annoying when I have to read a book for a school assignment. I always start reading the book a few days before the deadline. Books are a waste of time

I just read Slaughterhouse Five and thought it was ok. What is your favorite of his so I can maybe try it?

I used to read fairly often but now I only do it for school. I guess I could try to get back into it if I can find the right books.

Lolz had to read Slaughterhouse Five for English too. I wasn't a huge fan of it, tsk tsk Billy

i guess i can see why people don't like him; he's always very casual with his writing, very experimental

I enjoyed it for that fact, as well as the subtle humor

Try "Cat's Cradle", I finished it a week ago and it was an enjoyable read

I only started reading on my own time recently, chiefly Stephen King's novels. I grew up watching the movies that had been based on the books so there is something about his work that

I can't read books. I constantly am aware of my hunched over position trying to read the text. Or if I'm lying on the bed, I feel dizzy and I don't wanna read anymore. With no auditory or visual stimuli I grow bored rather quickly and find reading boring. The thing is I love stories, just not in book form.
