what program did the dev use to make ee art

hello, im once again looking for answers I may make my own smileys but till then I will have to wait unless you guys know what I can make? please put a link to download as well because it would help me a lot also I want to make texture packs and ee art just like the games art please.i may show off my new things I made for ee also I will do you guys some smiley if you want and I can compete with dark comment because he's not doing anything plus i asked him what he uses and he did not tell me

do you mean paint.net? if so, I will get it its the easiest art program I used wow it was fun:cool: and also it cant be photoshop or gimp because its too hard any the art doesn't look very good on those plus it would take hrs

what the diff between mspaint and paint.net? idk what it is if its easyer then yes but if its complicated then no

Jokings aside,

Dont use mspaint unless you don't mind the white background (because it doesn't support transparency).
Paint.Net is good for those who's starting. Though Photoshop is better

Pls, EE art consists of picking the right colour pixels to put in a 16x16 square. You don't need Photoshop for that - if MS Paint had transparency it would be good enough.
