Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

A way to enlarge the minimap

Add some way to make the minimap bigger so it is easier to see when you are doing art. I normally right click and then zoom in but there should probably be a way to do this in-game.

Re: A way to enlarge the minimap

It wouldn't be a mini map now would it?

well technically it's a minimap as long as the representation of the actual piece is smaller. So, if our blocks are even 15x15 then it's technically a very inefficient minimap

EB what sort of UI would this have? Could we do something like a second minimap that you can pull up where the regular minimap has an adjustable viewport on it? Then you could just drag the rectangle to the art you're doing and look at it through another dialog of sorts

Though I see no problem with taking a screenshot into paint or something

idk maybe you shift click the minimap button and a little slider pops up and you can click on the map to place a point of focus and use the slider to zoom in there. Also I'd like it if you could drag the size of the minimap bigger/smaller/wider/whatever with the little yellow cirlce I added. Then just close the map and reopen to have it function like a normal map with the new zoom and size.

the idea is to have it update like a normal map so you can see what you are doing

I don't think OP imagined enlarging the map without making it cover most of the screen, so it's not a problem. Also we have a hotkey for the minimap, so you can very easily toggle between looking at the map and looking in-game. There isn't really any reason to look at both at once.
