Has there been less bots recently?

In EE I have noticed less and less bots in worlds; the ones that join and just don't do anything in the world. Am I getting lucky in not encountering them or are they actually on the decline?

in my experience as BAL-running-person, BAL-er? "baller"?, I've found that running things for three people isn't as rewarding as running it for thirty people. That isn't helped when there are only thirty people to split between all the worlds lol.

seems you're personally against bots

I only dislike the ones that press keys without moving. The ones that do nothing (or record my movements / whatever) are fine and just boost the online player count in my worlds :3 (Which I kinda like).

It's just there seems to be less of both kinds chilling in worlds lately.

What has been happening is that people lost interest on EE. For example, I've lost my main account after some smart admin/mod decided to ban all my accounts. I used to host three main BALs, a build contest, Flood Escape which everyone loved, and Smiley Wars. Of course that those daily hosting days had to end after my work got all deleted (thanks to the ban).

So yes, there have been less bots recently and EE is in decline (increasingly rapid).
