Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I'm interested in computers and security and privacy. I would be nice to have a forum for that.
Right now is there only programming forum which I know a lot of people that maybe are like me, interested in computers.
Or why not, people that want to learn more about computers, security and privacy. It would be nice and I think there will maybe come tutorials for such too.
I know that offtopic exist, but who is looking there for these things. Anyway, I would be happy to get such forum.

That'd be cool to see. Perhaps we should look at this the other way. B&P came about because our GD was getting full of "hey look at my bot" threads which drowned the usual GD banter. So, to follow that reasoning, we should see plenty of security discussion in off-topic that warrants a subforum

What I have seen have people posted and also me in the programming thread things that doesn't have anything about the game to do.
If we could get a forum page we could move the bot and programming there, so it's not only for the game. I'm kinda active in bot and programmings, it's not only about EE programming I'm interested in.
Since before wasn't it accepted to post non EE related programming threads in bots and programming because it's only for the game. I want to see other programming stuff too.

I totally agree with the idea of opening the B&P subforum to general programming and not just EE-related stuff.
A new forum page on its own wouldn't be active enough to warrant a permanent spot on the main page in my opinion.

It could always be split into 'Bots' and 'Computers and Programming' maybe, which would be a fairly even split of the posts there, but as has already been said, it might not be active enough to do that
I was thinking about this too. It would be gold if it's possible.

Stack Overflow can be pretty unforgiving for younger people (and I have made some badly worded questions and got instantly denied by some people who came off as jerks and my edits ignored (creating a new post 3 days later then that is closed because I apparently already asked it >.>)) and it would be awesome if there could be a general programming section so people can get answers without being shut down because it wasn't clear the first time around.
Thank you eleizibeth ^
