False block

Sometimes when I am gonna place a block, it places another block instead of the one that's highlighted. For example, the sign block is selected in my inventory, but when I place blocks down it becomes blue basic instead. This doesn't always happens but...

this has affected my placement in EE/Place and im not happy about it.

If you click the sign block, press shift and then place a block it will place the most recently selected block in the hotbar.

Some more details srry:
It happens mostly after my edit is removed and given back
the sign is in the more tab, not in hotbar

Easier way to do this: Open ee. Disable block picker. Join some random world. Turn on block picker. Try blockpicking something.

1st block won't be selected but instead you'll just place a block (grey basic block by default).
