Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I'm from Kongregate so it doesn't show my account creation =/
Can someone make a bot that reads your auth token to find your start date? That would be awesome.
I know I started June 2010 or something like that. I started the day Everybody Edits 0.6x was released.
Ok, just found this:
http://kongregate.wikia.com/wiki/Everybody_Edits
According to that, I started May 10th, 2010.

Which website do you play on?
Armorgames, is it relevant? I expected to still have a registration date at least...

That explains it. Each user has a unique hidden userID when registering. UserIDs work differently for users registered on different websites. The main website userIDs have the registration date decoded into the ID itself, while versions from other websites don't. I don't know much about how this all works, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Registration dates can only be extracted from "simple" user IDs, which are only given to users who register on the Everybody Edits main website. Now, every player still has an ID, but these ones are unique in that they contain when the account was registered. Take for example Nvd, who has the ID "simple1299854374781x44". I extract from the ID "1299854374781", which is their registration date — Fri, 11 Mar 2011 14:39:34.781 GMT — in Unix time. Your user ID is "armorRaonAbsoluteZERO", which as you can see doesn't contain any date information. It's not that Armor Games is less relevant, but that they, along with Kongregate and Facebook, have a different ID scheme. It definitely would've been nice if the game kept a registration date for everyone somewhere else..

But I'm a real vet because I'm 2 years on EE. These 5 year old people are so olllld. I'm like the right age and hip with all.
Maverick: Started up on a 6, when he pulled from the clouds, and then I moved in above him.
Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?
Maverick: Because I was inverted.

well its kinda impressive that almost all people on this forum are dedicated veterans that joined in the 2010-2011 era
at the same time it shows that the community of this forum is very "distant" from newcomers and the general in-game community and that it is not an actual forum community like any other game has, a community that welcomes everyone but rather an enclosed "veteran cult" or something like that, with very little players of new generation
I'd say it's mainly because new comers don't use the forums which is why we don't really see or interact with them that much. Despite playing EE since early 2011, barely anyone knows who I am. This is mainly due to how I only recently started using the forums properly. Previously, I would only go to the forums to ask a question which is similar to new users.
New users don't tend to become dedicated to this game since it is a little old fashioned. However, those of us who have been playing for quite some time have more of a sentimental attachment to the game and as a result there a divide in the player base due to most 'new generation' players not enjoying the game the same way we do.
