i still don't understand why this topic still exists if you supposedly protect the privacy of your users

you won't reveal if someone is an alt, yet you tell nosy people why someone was banned reguardless of their consent? tbh i think the members should be answering and not the staff

Doesn't make sense to me, either, but hey.

Some people had some serious reservations against it and they made good points. But since nobody had a problem with the "Why are they banned" topic that the forums have had for years, I went with that. Tada, compromise that actually makes no sense when you think about it. The trick is to just not think about it.
