Since the player can only be "in" a single action block, the game has a directional bias as to what action block is activated if you're halfway in between two blocks.
I don't think half-blocks should have been added, as it makes this bias a lot more noticeable. Even if you were to fix bugs like these, that only creates more weird oddities like this one.

weirdly, signs dont show up either way if you're perfectly aligned against a half block. So they should change that and just make it visible on both.

It was the case in early days of signs. People were complaining that 2 sings overlap each other, that why they changed it to the current version

2 signs would only overlap each other in this edge case, which will almost NEVER occur unless a level creator intends for it to.
