Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

EE will NOT be able to be run on browsers!

Have staff even tested this? I've just ported a PlayerIO Unity3d project to WebGL, all happy like it was going to work, and it gave me a script error when I tried to use PlayerIO! Farther testing deduced that the project works 100% right up untill I use PlayerIO. Staff, please try to test your project and see if it runs in a browser first. Then, if it works, share how you did it? I'd like this to work.

sounds like you should've just PM'd someone who was in on that undertaking instead of doing this weird manic panic episode.

Does anyone know where (Jesse's?) that video displaying some unity features went? Did that suggest it was embedded or not

It's not. If it was, it wasn't on PlayerIO.

PlayerIO doesn't support HTML5.

D: Time to stop using PlayerIO

(There really are much better things out there, socket.io seems to do pretty much the same thing, but is not just based on dieing languages (at least for web programs))

Let's hear from a dev before pretending that we'd be deeply heartbroken by this.

Also, this thread is a repost of this one.

One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

Re: EE will NOT be able to be run on browsers!

I have doubts that PlayerIO will ever be ported to javascript / HTML5 / any other popular web scripting language, it seems like something that should be near top priority for them, but it doesnt really seem to be happening...

It's already been brought up before (besides the topic you mentioned).

I'd be fine with just having a downloaded client.
