Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Since the latest update we are allowed to place air blocks on the border (which is very nice). This made me use the border as a floor.
Problem is that the signs do not seem to connect up with the with the new 'ground'.

This is not a bug. The border is not a block.
I'm known as "haslo" in EE. Also, I refuse to play EEU.

It is the "black" block, indeed.

No, it is not a box. it's a void.
Void doesn't contain any blocks. It is just black space where you can't do anything.

Technically it is not a block, its the absense of a block, just there wasnt a way to get to it until recently, so there was no way to tell
However, this doesnt mean its not a bug, the fact that it isnt a block is the cause of the issue, not a reason to keep it there
IMO the border should act as seamlessly as possible (a goal of most other games), so it should act as if it were a block, just one you cant change, but its just a visual bug so I think more important things like unity should be put first

On the former, agreed. In fact, that's what the border used to do! Of course, then we opted to say that the gray border wasn't really a border, so here we are. Really it should operate as if it was still the gray border, which is operating as you say, seamlessly as possible.,
BUT, I'd argue that working on unity is a two-edged issue. On the one hand, not working on it won't get it done. On the other hand, if it won't get done anyway, working on other smaller issues is more fruitful.

I guess your right that unity may just be a project that is never finished...
I hope that there is at least an update on what is happening soon, whether its going to be continued, or if it will just be left so that more time can be spent updating the flash version, as there seems to be a lack of devs atm
I think EE definately needs a big change though, whether it be Unity, or major improvements to the way the flash client works, as large numbers of people cant even play anymore...

It's a simple fix. When the y-axis of the sign is the height of the world distracted by 1 (because y starts with 0 and not with 1), the sign will be connected to the ground.
