Maybe; maybe not. Nou mentioned that "they" discussed a reboot. Considering he had to make counterarguments for it, I assume other Staff members felt quite confident in the idea. It hasn't been confirmed though, and since the game is in NVD's hands, we can't be sure what the future will hold.

May someone please explain to me when and why there's gonna be a reboot?
like seriously, why are you gonna reboot the game? I don't want to lose my 6-7 year old progress.
If the game is really gonna be rebooted then I think it's better to let us choose who wants the reboot, every player should choose if they want to reboot their acc.
you have no right to reboot my account, I bought stuff there >_< please.

Well those are all rumors though. Staff never stated anywhere that they are going to do a full reboot.
Also atilla said this in discord: "'anyhow there's not really a reboot, at least not concerning worlds". She's not a staff member, but she does have some connections if that makes you a bit less worried

Your money will probably not be wasted, NOU stated in the chat that he is sure the remaining staff members will make it possible to carry over shop purchases. So you don't have to riot.
