My German teacher shows us this here in the states to waste time and we love it.

I've only seen the German singer so far, so I can't pick a favorite yet.

My country has a really bad song, it's not ugly but really boring to listen to. My favourite so far is Hungary, Cyprus is nice too. Funny how the theme is celebrate diversity but every country sends the same boring songs.

Serbia is in again with an english song which i guess i like since we usually just have songs in serbian, but the only win we had was Molitva in like 2007, and that was in serbian.
the song in 2017 is called "in too deep" which is i guess about cutting yourself xdxd

eurovision is always just politics tbh

still good fun though

i probably won't watch it live, because of the time difference, but it'll be interesting to see how it turns out

side note: i still find it kinda amusing that australia is in it... like i can understand that there is a big viewership here (likely due to the huge immigration from europe after ww2) but it still feels a bit weird

The Norwegian song was okay, but not really that catchy in my opinion. Didn't really have the OOMPH it needs. I haven't seen the other countries songs, but i'm pretty sure they could beat it.

I didn't see that but during the interlude Graham Norton said "it's come to my attention that during a performance there was a nude bottom, encase anyone is offended" w/e

I hope I won't get banned for this, but I may expected it from precedent encounters with moderators. This is a show who've been distributed to a lot of audience including children. The link is directly from the official Eurovision youtube channel, which what I consider should implement age restriction by default if necessary. So if you'd like to ban me for this you might as well send a reclamation to Google(TM)

Can anyone explain whats so good about Italy's song. The lyrics may be good but his voice is annoying and the melody is just basic europop and not very original.

It's just the best out of a bad situation, if the song doesn't sound like europop then it shouldn't be in Eurovision.

I'm not a big fan of Eurovision but like every year I watch the show, I think many agree and it's fair to say, this year there was no show (cept the nude guy).

I don't want to offend anyone but all the songs were boring, slow and quite unoriginal. During the whole time I felt like each and every one of the participants discussed before and agreed to come up with the slowest most boring song.

Anyway...grats to Portugal.

Normally there are 1 or 2 genuinely good songs but I definitely agree, Croatia and Italy used gimmicks which made me think I liked them.
