Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Yeah, they tend to try to get all expired domains...
i'd like to contact them and get mah domainy back
...in order to sell them back to you for a way higher price.
In the meantime, they're just going to host ads on the domain to pay back some of the cost.

well I suppose you could look at it this way:
it wasn't specifically important enough for you to actually upkeep it, therefore you don't need it back in the same shape
a different TLD, for example, would be by no stretch of the imagination unacceptable in terms of preserving traffic because you let it go...
a different domain, on the other hand, would probably be closer to reasonable in the sense that you're otherwise persuaded to care about personalization of that nature.
btw does anyone have a list of adverbs that cover "on the other hand" I don't like idioms... "opposingly" ? "alternatively" doesn't quite capture the essence I want

I don't have anything to contribute to the actual topic other than "oh well"

There's always the miracle of web design that is Weebly.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

If you're talking from your own experience I fell sorry for Norway.
Everybody edits, but some edit more than others

Sorry for the late reply, but just in case you didn't know, this can sometimes actually be illegal. If you really want the domain back, either wait to see if they stop paying for it, or you might be able to claim it back, read this for some more info.
Also, what's wrong with weebly atilla, it's pretty much good enough for most things you would want to use it for?
