Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

EETetris is a monogame application designed for you to extract to a location, and then play it.
It's made in monogame, so if you have monogame installed, you (could) play it on linux and mac maybe?
Nevertheless if you don't have monogame installed and you're on windows, you shouldn't need to worry about it.
Tell me what you think about it, and what to improve. I'm sure there lot's of bugs. Please do contribute to it on github, I'd love it if you'd help make it better

0.2.0
Fixed that bug
Added a score
Rotation left is Q and rotation right is E
Arrow keys are a must and have been done
Also, scores are saved in setup.json ( and so are the hotkeys ) so open it up with notepad and your best score is right there.

It seems like you put the lose bar about 3 blocks too low, as it's resetting me when i haven't lost yet
New Suggestions:
you should make it so the game starts speeding up every few thousand points you get, bc as of now you can basically go forever
you should also make it so there are BG's where your thing WOULD land if you hit the spacebar, as regular tetris usually has an outline

"Shadows" are going to be in 0.3.0:
Your speeding up idea will get added as well.
I'll work on it and release 0.3.0 tomorrow

Shadows should be backgrounds
What about the beta blocks? Beta doesn't have backgrounds.
also you should use/have an option for using the tile pack imo
Ok.
Done:
Any other block packs?

I don't even need a game engine. I can make a tetris game better than this just using Gtk#.

Elaborate on why the current tetris game is bad?

Because it uses Monogame which is useless for what you want to make. Which kind of simple tetris game like this requires you to install additional crappy software?

So you're saying this tetris game is bad purely because it uses a game engine you think is bad?

LOL, seriosly, this bot file is 20MB big and it's not even working

Yes.
Case closed.

What OS are you using? What happens when you try to open it? What version did you download?

It's not about opinions. It's about you being unable to accept any criticism for your work. If you don't want to be criticized for the work you know that it's bad, then you shouldn't even release it.

You're the one who's saying the game engine is bad without even bringing out any evidence for it.
Offline
You're the one who should have searched for the evidence, before you started to learn to use Monogame. You claim it's good only because you use it and it runs well for you.
The first thing someone does before using something is to check if that thing is good and worth to use. You clearly didn't do for Monogame.
My last post here, as I don't want this criticism discussion to be converted into a flame war. I know that will happen.

i downloaded the 0.2.0, it's coming this, if i open it. it's say, "EETetris is not working"
You're the one who should have searched for the evidence, before you started to learn to use Monogame. You claim it's good only because you use it and it runs well for you.
This isn't even a debate anymore, I can't tell if you're being sarcastic and trying to just poke a stick at me.
You're the one who should have searched for the evidence
Why should I search for the evidence? You're the one who pointed out it's bad in the first place, elaborate on why it's bad!
So far the "answer" to why it's bad, is because you think it's bad. You're making your opinion the answer! Better yet, you yell at me for not doing something right.
You claim it's good only because you use it and it runs well for you.
Kirby obviously was able to run it.
I haven't claimed it was good, it's not even in 1.0.0 yet! Have you seen semantic versioning?
The first thing someone does before using something is to check if that thing is good and worth to use. You clearly didn't do for Monogame..
How am I supposed to do that? The only other thing I used for "making games", is Win Forms. Win Forms! I haven't used GTK#, because I've never felt a need to use it, and since you're the one claiming it's bad, support your answer! Currently, your only support is a "I think it's bad."
My last post here, as I don't want this criticism discussion to be converted into a flame war. I know that will happen.
You start the debate, you fight the debate with an opinion, and then you end the debate because you don't wish to actually debate the subject.
You yell at me because I haven't searched for why monogame is good, even though you're the one pointing out monogame is bad.
How is this all based upon me accepting criticism?

You extracted all of the contents of the zip to a folder, and then ran "EETetris.exe" ( not eetetris.vhost.exe ), right?
Otherwise I don't have a clue what could be causing it.
