[Question] How would I go about getting a topic stickied?
I was wondering how I could get a topic stickied.
Do I need to let it happen naturally?
Do I need to ask mods?
Should I ask mods at all?

You can ask mods, but first understand what is considered sticky worthy.

We don't usually sticky stuff. Most forums are already cluttered with them.

See what you do is
slather it in a nice, moist, sticky substance and wait for it to dry
when it is dry, it should be stickied to a surface

Most stickied topics are either forum rules, guides, useful compilations, or topics with lots of general discussion. Since you're not a moderator (that we know of), you should probably choose one of those latter three if you want to get a sticky topic. That's very unlikely for that to happen, though, so just relax and don't worry too much about it.
