Shrink Effect

The Shrink effect is exactly how it sounds. It shrinks your smiley from 16x16 to 8x8, for everyone else at least. On your screen you remain 16x16, but everything around you grows

jump height/movement speed are halved (or made normal if the screen is 2x bigger). This can be used to fit through half blocks

Was suggested here but they didn't have everything grows and you stay 16x16
staying 16x16 is better so yeah

they arent 8x8 tho idk if you opened the spoilers. Sure, they appear 8x8 for other people, but not on your end

I dunno man it looks kind of off. I would rather not have the game look even worse, though this might work if the game had vector graphics.

your images evince a recollection in me of the time-honored optical illusion...

This is an interesting idea. It would cause fun times for the guy working on the physics... but as I mentioned earlier this also prompts:
do we add quarter-blocks? How are those represented? (don't be morphable)
does the smiley jump in real height? or in mini-height? and the other physics things oh
are we zombie-proof?

i think we can hold off on quarter blocks, because we can do enough with half blocks if we had this effect
zombie proof is a good question, i'd say no, don't be zombie proof. If we made them zombie proof, but not switch, key, coin, or crown proof, there could be some consistency issues and complaints
