I like this idea.

But I'd prefer the OP have different rules. Additions can be made, but nothing can be removed, and the original post cannot be changed.

I see no benefit to this, only loss. As said above, what if someone wants to edit their crew thread? Sprite/art topic?

How about only if the topic hasn't gotten posted in for a long time? That would prevent people from going back and changing loads of posts since they have to bring something new to the topic first.

it would be easy enough, if this is done, to make it 6 months after last edit, or last reply, or whatever would be chosen
