First Person Maze

I made a 3D first person maze.

Some people have a hard time seeing the very low resolution 3D.

▼Some tips:

• Imagine you are physically standing in the maze and the screen is what you see.

• The closed doors are the walls.

• The open doors are the floor/ceiling.

• There is a top down map of the maze on the mini map.

• The checkered spot on the map is the finish.

• The yellow circles are blue coins. (you do not have to collect them)

• I do not have where you start on the map.

I don't remember exactly how long it took. It took me several weeks to plan out everything. Then a little over a week to make the map.

▼The process

I started by making a top down map of the maze on paper.
From there I preset how tall i wanted the walls to be and used formulas for orthogonal projection to figure out the view. Not as hard as it sounds.
I went through every single view in the maze figuring out what needed to be displayed and saved everything in an excel spreadsheet.
I planned out what I needed the machine to look like and started putting all the pieces together.

I plan on making a bigger better version in the future.

I love this concept, and I love how original this idea is because I've never seen a world like this in EE b4 (IMO).
