hi, ive heard from some people that rapid smiley changing will get you banned, is this the case?
and if yes then why?

edit: i though i posted this in game discussions :/ , if a mod would be so kind

Using WPE could get you banned. This due to security issues.

Nobody's gonna ban you for that, by changing your smiley fast you aren't causing any problems for anyone else, so there would be no need for a ban.

If you could be banned for this. What happen to people that make dot + up-arrow to spam keys, switches, crown and so on, which is rapidly?
If the server coders could add delay to trophy. And also delay for sending blocks. Why not add delay to the face if they are so banning hungry?

Here's what probably happened. Someone used WPE to do something that was legitimately harmful to other people's experience in the game. Koya bans them (rightfully so) and the reason is that they used WPE. Then the idea that you get banned for using WPE goes round and someone's like "but wpe is fun because you can change your smiley rapidly" and then everyone's all like "wow koya is hitler demod him". Well that's just my theory.

i said that some people claimed that people who do this would be banned, i never claimed that this already happend i just asked for clarification

Oddly enough use wpe in a world should be harmless, because bots can easily do the exact same thing as wpe pro.

Yes but you now have people using WPE to appear to be teleporting around sometimes outside the world in other people's worlds.

Although, you still haven't answered OP, who had stated within a private group conversation, "I was doing **** rainbow smileys and ****"", presumably denying or or conveniently omitting actual malicious actions.
Additionally, the ban reason doesn't provide any detail or nuance about the activities themselves, but rather is fairly generalised as "for using a packet editor".

You don't get banned for only using WPE Pro.

I made a thread about getting banned for hacking. I asked what I did, Koya said that I used tools to change packets with.
Then he said later that I wrote on my alt "I use WPE Pro and Cheat Engine because I'm a real hacker". Which I did as a joke. But no this isn't a joke this is serious business.
But anyway, why would I use WPE Pro when I can use a bot that can do anything for me. Or Cheat Engine when I can edit the client to do most everything.
