Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Gtk Project: Object size can't change

So in MonoDevelop when i create a Gtk Project it's items (labels, etc.) are always width, and height to maximum and i don't know how to make them smaller; i tried to click on the right and move away, but it makes the screen itself smaller; ideas?

Re: Gtk Project: Object size can't change

Hello AnotlyEE,
on my build of monodevelop it even gives you a big warning if you put controls on the window itself //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

you need to first add a container and then you can add objects into the container and resize them.
if you have more questions regarding mondevelop feel free to pm me //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

edit: how can i even upload pictures to the forums?

Re: Gtk Project: Object size can't change

first drag a  "fixed" container into the area of your UI, then add a label ontop of that
