Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Talking, Typing or Writing?

well. when i type i can say anything. Far less inhibitions then talking in real life.

my handwriting is abysmal, i have dysgraphia, so either i spend a good 45 minutes trying to write a decent paper and that's given i haven't written anything else that day and strained my hand or i pop out some things that barely resembles words, and struggle to even do that.

and talking is ok, though i need to pause or say um to finish my thoughts.

Re: Talking, Typing or Writing?

Writing is too slow and awful to be useful for anything longer than a few sentences.

I feel like it's easier to be funny while talking because I have more control over how people interpret what I say and I have control over the delivery, but typing makes wordplay jokes a bit easier. Also typing makes it easier to be clear about what you are saying. Nobody has to worry about mishearing or not hearing something and people have more time to think about what they say before they send it. Speaking is good for immediate things while I usually treat text conversations more casual.

Talking in person is probably what I prefer the most, then typing/texting, then handwriting messages back in forth.

Re: Talking, Typing or Writing?

typing, not with ant-sized keyboards on mobile, but with a computer or laptop of some sort

talking takes too much energy
i can talk but ya know, you have to move the muscles in your mouth, and stretch those vocal cords, too much work man

i'm conflicted with writing
i do think it is important for us human beans to learn good handwriting, yet the skill itself is becoming more useless as our modernized technological world is slowly pushing us to type more

Talking because being able to see peoples reactions and using facial expressions is very important in bringing over a message for me.
I also really enjoy writing.

Pm me with anything math related please

Typing, because when I talk my voice is awful. And writing takes lots of time.

Re: Talking, Typing or Writing?

Typing. Talking in person would be easier because you can actually express what you're thinking and not just display a bunch of letters.. but I talk really fast, have a slight stutter and a thick countryside hick accent, so I spend more energy trying to "correct" my speech and I mess up and talk even faster and oh goddamit I can't focus

That's for Portuguese. In English my Brazilian accent is unintelligibly thick (as you guys in Discord sure know) and my stuttering is 10x worse so I just type instead.

Re: Talking, Typing or Writing?

I'm so used to typing that when i had to do a written exam i was nervous because i was worried the sensor might not even understand my handwriting. Definitely prefer typing. Talking and typing are both fine with me, i just don't like writing.

Re: Talking, Typing or Writing?

Of course Typing, because talking makes me stressful to say anything to kids, people expect my family. And I'm feeling that people thinks that I can't talk.
And writing... You need get best handwriting for makes easily understand, probably makes mistakes, I'm not sure what is it, I'm not doing it everytime.

Handwriting is a lot faster with things like mind maps and plans because you have to draw stuff at the same time. I actually prefer hand writing for short stuff, like lists or poems, but if it's something longer typing is definitely a lot more confortable.

Re: Talking, Typing or Writing?

Talking is easiest for expressing what you mean and getting your message across with everyday language. Typing is the most efficient, and you can also easily correct mistakes with it. I don't really see any benefit in handwriting; I'm pretty slow when I'm writing long texts and my handwriting is terrible so yeah I hate writing.

Re: Talking, Typing or Writing?

I have a bad voice which I don't want to bring much attention to, so naturally I prefer writing a lot more. It also helps me be a lot less anxious since I don't actually see peoples' faces when typing to them.
