Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

No, but you can live without a brain.

oh would you like to be the first one to try //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile
just kidding, you won't be the first one, actually a lot of people tried to live without a brain, they even built an unique tool for these experiments:

but you may be the first one to succeed, who knows! //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

but is that even living? technically the body would perform functions necessary to sustain the life of organs, but what's the point of that?

Re: Heart vs Brain

Without the brain, your entire body receives no nervous impulses. Your heart will stop pumping, you basically start dying

Re: Heart vs Brain

if you consider the two hemispheres of the brain to be individual brains iirc u can live without half ur brain or something so maybe u can consider that living without a brain in that the without a brain means with the lack of one brain as opposed to without a brain meaning that you dont even have one brain

Re: Heart vs Brain

As far as hearts and brains go, I think neither is the best. While I use my heart more, both brains and hearts can lead you off. People who follow their brain more have the risk to be distant and selfish, and those that follow their heart too much lack..um...intelligence. Additionally, peoples' brains are fueled by the blood from their heart, meaning that people preferring brains can be just as unhealthy as those following their hearts.

So, it goes all the way back to the heart. You're going to need a heart in good condition. Unfortunately, many people have diseased hearts, which they're going to need to visit doctors for. You also have the problem with doctors who are diseased themselves. People tend to deny that their hearts have diseases, so if anybody warns them of the health risks, they're going to need an open mind to accept that. If they do find a good doctor, they're also going to have to be willing to go through the painful surgery. Very few take the most painful surgeries, but when they do, they end up great and healthy people envied by all of society.

a joke i found somewhere but couldn't find so i typed it here wrote:

The heart and the brain were arguing about who was the most important body part.
The heart shouted "I'm the most important body part because without me, you wouldn't have oxygen go anywhere!"
The brain shouted "I'm the most important body part because without me, you wouldn't be able to pump blood because I didn't tell you!"
The quarrel was long, until the bladder joined in and said "I'm the most important body part!"
The heart and the brain stopped, and laughed hysterically at the bladder.

Not long after, the brain, heart, and any other body part died because the bladder stopped working.

That's why you need to explain your reasoning otherwise you might get shrugged off in an argument.

He dropped his colon? How is he going to live without it?

I can't believe that our n1kf would so mercilessly roast gka like that, so I'm gonna assume you meant it would be like nothing is different for the person who died.

I'd rather be heartless than brainless, metaphorically speaking.

One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.
