Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Now that any block can be placed on the border, you can place a see-through block like a dot onto it, and some BG under that.
As per title, this BG can't be erased.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

That doesn't help at all. The bug he is talking about is when you place a background block in the border but then later decide you want the bgcolor or the normal no-background background in that spot. Then you can't erase that background block you placed so you will always have to have one there.

This is a feature in Everybody Edits. When you clear backgrounds you will only clear those that doesn't have a block on top.
If you erase on the blocks, they will be removed.

No. You can erase backgrounds behind blocks if you click on an empty area, hold it and move it to those backgrounds. However, the border is hard-coded so you can't use the eraser on it.

I saw that now. Works in EEditor to erase backgrounds in the border. No idea why it doesn't work in EE.
EEditor is using the same code as in EE.
