Read this:

PRIZES:
1st place (1 ? 5): 1000 max energy to every player in the winning teams + Bunny smiley! + Secret smiley? ?
2nd place (6 ? 10): 500 max energy to every player in the winning teams! + Bunny smiley!

If it meant 5 1st place users then it would have said "1st place (1-5) and 2nd place (1-5). It doesn't therefore it is referring to the first 5 teams and then the 6th through 10th teams.

I have a question, might not be in the right place but I was wondering how the event was judged? and if there were different categories of judging like minigames, art, etc...

It will be judged by a panel of judges, no public vote this time. Generally speaking, we will be judging how good the artwork is, how well designed the gameplay of the level is and the fun factor.

Both art and gameplay are factors.

official competition if a team is disqualified. or those are the back-up teams?
