Kimi No Na Wa/Your Name

Kimi No Na Wa/Your Name is a Japanese animated film recently released to cinemas outside Japan.

Just saw it in Australian theatres. Amazing work by Makoto Shinkai.
As a representation of how good this movie is, it has already hit the TOP spot (9.3-9.4 stars) on MyAnimeList (rating wise), and is already topping Japan Box Office (think it's been top box office for like over 20 weeks aside from one week when death note beat it).

▼Just my quick thoughts (SPOILERS)

Honestly, the plot had a few flaws, especially as it reached the climax of the movie, but that's just supernatural anime for you. I didn't even notice the flaws until I truly analysed the movie after watching it, as the visuals and sound were just top notch.
Additionally, I did watch this with my sister, who knows a bit of Japanese (did it in VCE), and she can vouch that the voice acting is bloody amazing.
Plot 9/10.
Art 10/10.
Visuals 10/10.

That point when he wrote "I love you" on her hand tho <3.

All in all, a freakin stellar movie.

Anyone seen it or planning to see it?
Not sure about release dates in other countries, but I highly recommend booking a seating, although it might not suit everyone's tastes (focuses largely on drama, plus the plot can be confusing at times).

Good enough reason to watch it!
I've seen the trailer, seems awesome, definitely going to watch it one day. Also, Radwimps made the theme song to the movie, and it's an awesome song
