Moved to Forum Discussion and it's because kids like abusing features. Thinking about limiting anon use to Off-Topic and Debate.

It's sometimes misused, but not nearly as much as it could be for the feature to become annoying. Plus, it does have some legit uses in most topics.
I was legit expecting half the topics to become anonymous after the forum update
