Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Somehow, everything in the forums (the text part) appears in italics. Bold text isn't italicized.
I'm on an old phone (don't judge me) Samsung Galaxy Grand which I modified by rooting and changing the system font and then unrooting. It may be stupid, but hey, my phone has an unlocked bootloader. No other apps or websites seem to experience this issue. I haven't checked this out on a PC or any other device yet, and so forgive me if I missed an important announcement or something. Oh and if you were wondering, I replaced only Roboto with Source Sans Pro or something like that, and the bootloader has not relaced it.
I'm using the Radon theme. (Again, don't judge me)

Nothing for me italic? What brouser do you use? Is your head watching the desktop in 90°?
Alright no offense but this probably isn't going to get fixed. I can't replicate the issue, and I don't have access to your phone to see what it thinks about the situation. With no way to find out anything about the problem, the only thing I can really say is "try a different browser or factory resetting your phone or wiping your browser data."

From this it sounds like you messed up in replacing the font, and are only seeing it here because other apps and websites are using their own fonts, whereas this website is going under the default system sans-serif font (Roboto) which you replaced. Can you give a screenshot of what http://samrush.net/1448/example.html looks like to you?

Checked it. Looks weird. Normal style and no style is italicized.
I'm using chrome, and this was not present before the most recent update.
The other weird thing is that the font I'm actually using (ie, the one that I replaced Roboto with) looks different from this italics font.
And no, I don't live in Italy, @maxi123

Okay, that looks like what I expected pretty much, and the sans fonts there do seem to be Roboto. My best conjecture at this point is
-The normal version of Roboto was deleted by what you did, so when the system wants to use Roboto it puts in the italic version wherever it should be normal (non-italic bold is separate from just plain normal so it wouldn't be affected)
-The new font you put in- Source Sans Pro- replaced Roboto in normal cases for the system font, but wasn't replaced as default sans-serif font in the web browser, which still will try to use Roboto and then gets forced to use italic
The most definite fix would be to revert your phone to how it was before you changed the fonts. There is probably a way to do it with the fonts changed, but I am not sure what it would be. It would help if you posted the instructions you used/steps you followed for changing the system font, since this is pretty definitely the cause of the issue.

Moved to Off-Topic since this has nothing to do with the forums.

OK so I'll tell you what I did step-by-step.
1. Installed KingRoot. Don't judge me please
2. Installed ROM Toolbox
3. Changed the system font a couple or more times.
4. Saw a notification that said something like "delete harmful app KingRoot because it can ruin your phone". There was also a button with the notification and I clicked it (yes I didn't unroot via the KingRoot app) and then I lost the KingRoot app and root access.
Everything was fine until the newest chrome update
EDIT: The Roboto font file isn't deleted; it was merely replaced with a ttf file with the same name. I know this because I played around with root browser.

I assume Robot-Regular.ttf is the name of the file you replaced? If you revert that one back to how it used to be, the issue will probably be resolved. I don't know exactly what else would be useful, if you want more help your best chance is probably posting all the information you've posted here to an Android forum where more knowledgeable people might be able to resolve it.

I found a temporary way to bypass this issue - I'm now using Opera for Android. I think I'll stick to this browser because it looks so much better than Chrome and text areas don't look crazy anymore.
