Okay, trust me, this is going to seem weird, but it's great.
A lot of people waste energy into worlds they go into once and then never use again. I've seen this a lot, mostly with veteran players. But how about that each world has a feature that you can CONVERT energy into a in-world currency?
For a example, 1 energy could equal 2 (insert random name player chooses here).
"Well, Dysfunctional, you ****, that's a waste of energy, what would the currency do?"
Guess what! The owner can get the currency he developed, and convert BACK into energy, while giving the player what he/she wanted!
For a example, let's say there is a small boss place. 2 energy equals 1 token. 5 tokens equals the key to a door that could give the player a new feature.
The player gets the feature, has more content to explore, and the owner has more energy.
This could even lead to the community building a economic industry!
And for my next feature- Trading.
Lets say "Bob" has a Fire block. "Dan" wants that. While "Bob" wants a "Infection Block" which "Dan" wants. "Dan" also has a Fire block. They trade, and you know what happens.
This can even be used with Auras, and WORLDS!
Let's say the owner of a world thinks a 25 x 25 world or 50 x 50 world is useless. He's a veteran, who has a lot of 100 x 100 and above places. While a small player invested all of his time into a huge world (300 x 300). The small player trades for 5 50 x 50 worlds for 1 50 x 50 huge world.

Trust me, these ideas will build up a MASSIVE economy in EE.

And the strangest idea, a Rifle Block.
When a player touches it, they are equipped with a small rifle.
They can shoot, and cause small damage to a player (1/8 to 1/4 of a players health). This could lead to a entirely new genre of EE places that we haven't seen- shooters.
This suggestion was a slow, crippling spiral. But this takes the cake.

Players getting more involved with the community, Forums etc
I don't see a whole wrong with it, Though it will need some restrictions on what you can and can not trade
The gun part of it, and making EE a shooter game has been suggested hundreds of times before, There are ALOT of things to go wrong with it, Along with the main theme of the game as we know and love it

I think the token idea is really cool. You could even give tokens to players in your worlds as rewards and they could convert it back to energy. The trading idea isn't bad either.
But guns have been suggested and rejected hundreds of times, so that's not happening.

Soo, the ability to give energy to other players. That'll certainly create an economy - in the form of energy farming.
And pay-to-win levels, awesome.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

It might take some time to get all items from shop but that's the point of energy after all
Trading
10 alts max out huge world and 'trade' with owner of alts with 10 small worlds.. okay
Rifle Block
Bullets take too much server precision, you know it from zombie/curse infection, you get infected but you didn't see that player touch you, or when someone jumps off boss platform and then teleports back
Not saying these ideas are totally stupid, admins could make something good out of this by making some changes, if they wanted
