Secretly removed smiley?

Hello, I would like to ask a few questions right here.

1. Why "GUARD" was removed?
2. When "GUARD" was removed?
3. Why didn't staff let us know about "GUARD" being removed?

Gosha's sleuthing shows this was either a mistake or a bad cover-up
