Game loading stuck at 72%

Hi, so this is a bug that seems to appear today. I can't get past the preloader, and it stops at 72 or 74%.
I have tried the following things, with no success:
refreshing the page regularly,
refreshing using ctrl+F5 to force the browser to download everything again,
open a private window just in case some cookies or cache interfere with the loading
using another browser which I usually never use, also doing all the above

Some info: main browser is firefox 49.0.1 (current latest), have tried using chrome 53.0.2785.143, OS is Windows 7

Also using 49.0.1, no error.
Windows 10

Tried again, didn't do anything special, but it works now. I don't know why that was happening though.

EE loads resources through content delivery networks (CDNs) which are stored in various places around the world, you would load from the closest to you being the fastest but CDNs aren't always the smartest and sometimes if someone makes a request but then cancels the request half way though (or 72% - although it's more like 5% accounting for the connection to the CDN to stop) the CDN might think "aha, so that's all the data from that address" and will hand that out for the next 30 minutes to anyone who requests it to them.

This kind of error is not common as 99.9% of the time the CDN should load all of the data regardless of if the user disconnects but can happen if the host server times-out while serving the data or the CDN is overloaded and the current task becomes a lower priority. If this happens again you may just have to wait a few minutes for the CDN cache to expire :/

Yeah didn't think about the CDN side of it, which is why this didn't happen to anyone else recently, as far as I know.

Yeah EE on the main site isn't loading for me at all, it's just a black screen so i need to use the beta.everybodyedits

I am also getting the black screen of nothingness, but only on FireFox. This is even with Scripts turned on globally (NoScript turned off) not affecting it. DOES load in Chrome. Windows 7.

It turned out quickly, If I launch EE again. Nothing.

Me too, just black inside the game play area, thought it was my pc, but it must be an EE problem.

and then...... (had to put the answer here because of the warning not to double post)

AHA ! - it`s that "unsupported on browser" issue - NPAPI enabling and all that - EE no longer supported on firefox, works fine on edge/IE.

If it's no longer supported on firefox, that sucks. beta.everybodyedits and minimal.everybodyedits works on firefox though, they're a bit laggy for me, but it's better than nothing

I use Firefox (same version) on Windows 7 and I'm fine. The game itself is smaller than the box though (which doesn't bother me at this point).

So it doesn't work with firefox with me. Is there a way to fix this? Cause everything else is super laggy for me except the main site. Hopefully this isn't a permanent thing

Apart from Firefox being a bad browser I can't see any reason why it is constantly acting up with Flash.
