Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Off-Topic chat thread

Well the end of season 1 was really cool. Then season 2 was kind of good but ultimately disappointing, but it had some good episodes. And the finale? It was okay, nothing special though. idk for some reason Bill Cypher wasn't as scary as he could have been.

Re: Off-Topic chat thread

I have to say that this latest paper of mine has got to be the least effort I've put into a document and I feel ashamed to have printed it out, twice, wasting that paper.

I don't look forward to the grade, but this assignment has little to no explanation as to the expectations so I'm flying blind.

we're supposed to pick some purchase we've made and extend it to explain something about our consumption, abut society as a whole. There's not a whole lot more about where to go in the paper.. so I just went everywhere

Re: Off-Topic chat thread

THE UNIVERSAL SCRIPT

Imagine, if you will, the complete saga of our existence; from the very first particle that collided with another, to the very last to extinguish. Imagine all of this written down in one enormous script, one with information that takes up more space than our universe can handle.

This particular script details everything anything has ever done. The Crusades is written down neatly in 30 paragraphs. The Nanking Massacre is tidied into a nice drama. The time when one of our astronauts in 3012 drank coffee and blinked twice; all jotted down in the script.

I like to call it: The Universal Script.

The script cannot be read, as does not have a solid structure. The script is simply being. It chronicles everything we have ever done, and there is nothing to change it.

If someone were to attempt to defile the script, they would fail, as the script has already planned the person's destiny...which was to defile the script.

One can say the script bears the fate of our future. It indeed does, as it is already finished. Everything that will happen is written on the script, and it cannot be modified.

The script is not a piece of paper, nor is it any state of matter. It exists purely in our minds, although it is not our imagination.

The script stretches eons and contains every event, notable or not, and every person, notable or not. You and I are in the script, and we are following it right now, even though we've never read it. Everyone is an actor.

The script is what the Universe follows. Some can say the script destroys the very idea of "free will", as we do not plan any of our actions; we are simple following the script.

Yet this raises more questions: What is the script's main climax? Who is the protagonist? Who is the antagonist?

I would imagine nobody. The Universal Script would contain focus on over billions of people, so there's no "focus" on any single person.
