Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Solar Filters

Solar Filters are protection methodes against blindness, so you can easily look in the sun, without being blinded. I have created some weak filters with normal paper. Here are the pictures:

How do you find the filters activitations?

Re: Solar Filters

Make sure to include a 100% UV filter on top of anything you use; UV does the most damage and you can't see it.

I have solved the problem. I believe not 100% of all UV is filtered, but around 97% are, and the sun doesn't hurt the eyes anymore. This filter has been made with:

  • Glasses

  • A WhiteBoard Black Marker (Because Black filters a lot of light)

  • Tesafilm

Done is my solar filter

Replace glasses with sunglasses that filter 100% UV or use a UV filter camera lens which may be cheaper.

The point of these filter is that i create them by my own ideas, and not buy them in the shop.

If you want to cause permanent damage to your eyes - I kinda have to advise not to.

If you do it enough there will be one point where damage occurs in a wider area at once.

Just don't be an idiot and cause eye damage when you could easily be fine by just using a UV filter.

BTW, the kit you listed earlier would not absorb 97% UV, more like 20% max.
